What is CvLaunch?

CvLaunch is an AI-powered platform for building CVs and analysing them against ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems). You build your CV in minutes with professional templates, strengthen your wording with AI, and check whether your CV will pass the recruiting software companies use.

Is CvLaunch free?

Yes, we have a free plan. You can build your CV, preview every template, and use the core features. Unlimited downloads, advanced AI analysis, and extra features are part of the Pro and Business plans. See our pricing page for current prices and a full comparison.

Can I use it without an account?

The instant CV check on the homepage requires no account: upload your PDF CV and get a basic compatibility scan in seconds. To build and save CVs and use the AI features, all you need is a free account.

Which languages is it available in?

The interface and AI features are available in English, Turkish, German, Spanish, and French. You can write the content of your CV in any language you like.

CV Building and Templates

How many templates are there, and are they ATS-friendly?

We offer 9 professional templates. All of them are designed for machine readability: standard section structure, clean typography, and a layout ATS software can parse without issues. You can switch templates at any time without losing your content.

Can I upload my existing CV?

Yes. You can upload your existing PDF CV and run it through the ATS analysis and AI evaluation. With the AI Advisor you can also build a new CV starting from your current one.

Can I add a photo to my CV?

Yes. The built-in cropping tool lets you upload and align your photo. Note: in countries like the US and UK, photos on CVs are uncommon, while in Germany or Turkey they are the norm. Decide based on the country you are applying to; every template looks great without a photo too.

Which formats can I download in?

You can download your CV as a print-ready PDF that keeps its formatting on any device. DOCX (Word) export is also available in case an employer asks for an editable format.

Can I create multiple CVs?

Yes. Keeping different CV versions for different roles is one of the most effective application strategies. We recommend sending every application with a CV tailored to the job posting; within your plan limits you can save multiple CVs.

ATS and AI Analysis

What is an ATS and why does it matter?

An ATS (Applicant Tracking System) is the software companies use to collect and filter applications. Most larger companies scan CVs with an ATS before a human ever reads them. If your CV is not machine-readable, you can get filtered out no matter how qualified you are. That is why ATS compatibility is step one of the modern job search.

What does the ATS analysis measure?

Our analysis evaluates your CV across several dimensions: machine readability, complete contact details, standard section structure, quantified achievements (claims backed by numbers), date consistency, bullet-point usage, and length. You get an overall score, your strengths, and concrete suggestions to fix.

What is the AI HR comment?

Beyond the technical ATS scan, the AI reviews your CV through a recruiter's eyes: first impression, strengths and weaknesses, which roles you appear suited for, and what you should improve.

How does AI polishing work?

You select weak, passive, or generic phrases and the AI rewrites them with strong action verbs and impact-driven language. For example, instead of "Was responsible for sales", "Exceeded the annual sales target by 120% and secured regional leadership". You can edit every suggestion before accepting it; the final word is always yours.

What is keyword targeting?

You paste the text of the job posting you want to apply to; the system compares it with your CV and shows the keywords that appear in the posting but are missing from your CV. Since ATS systems often rank by keyword match, this lets you tailor your application to the job quickly.

Can I generate a cover letter?

Yes. The AI drafts a personalised cover letter based on your CV and the target job posting, and you can edit it however you like.

Plans and Payment

Which plans are available?

We offer three plans: Free, Pro, and Business. The Free plan includes basic CV building and a limited AI quota; Pro adds unlimited downloads and the full AI analysis; Business offers the highest quotas and every feature. Current prices and limits are on the pricing page.

How is payment processed? Is my card data safe?

All payments are processed through Paddle, a payments platform used by thousands of software companies worldwide. Your card details never reach us; they are processed and stored by Paddle. We only keep records such as the transaction ID, plan, and amount.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription from your account at any time; your plan features stay active until the end of the paid period. Afterwards your account automatically returns to the Free plan, and your data is not deleted.

Who do I contact about invoices and refunds?

For invoices, payment issues, and refund requests, reach us at support@cv-launch.com. We reply as quickly as we can.

Security and Privacy

Is my data safe?

Yes. Your data travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), your password is stored as an irreversible hash, and your data is never sold to third parties. See our privacy policy for details.

Are my CVs used to train AI models?

No. Your CV content is processed only for the analyses and suggestions you request; it is not used to train AI models.

Can I delete my account and my data?

Yes. You can permanently delete your account at any time; this removes all your data, including your CVs. Your GDPR rights of access, rectification, and erasure are detailed in our privacy policy.
